Fits Detroit Diesel 12.7L Series 60 EGR Engines.
This engine uses a 2-piece Steel Crown, articulated 16.5:1 CR piston. It uses a standard type wrist pin, which slides through the connecting rod and is held into place by retaining clips. 22mm Heavy Wrist Pin (0.866" ID). 2.5mm Top Ring Thickness
Cylinder Kit 23530612 will contain: 23527791 crown and skirt piston with 23531251 rings, TLC Liner. (Piston kit number 23530612, 23530611)
Heavy Duty Pros recommends use of our Premium Engine Kit for this application, as new head bolts and cam bearings are generally required during all rebuilds of the Series 60 platform.
