These engine bearings are manufactured with the latest in heavy duty construction and feature a sliding layer that is applied to the load half of the bearings by PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) process. This sliding layer is thinner than used in conventional bearing construction for increased load carrying capabilities. The loaded halves of the bearings also feature Syntech? anti-friction coating for added durability.
