Our Detroit Diesel lubrication system parts are made with premium OEM quality materials to ensure strength and durability. These bearings feature a sliding layer that is applied to the load half of the bearing by PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition). This sliding layer is thinner than conventional bearing construction for increased load carrying capabilities.
