These bearings feature a sliding layer that is applied to the load half of the bearing by PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition). This sliding layer is thinner than conventional bearing construction for increased load carrying capabilities. The loaded halves of the bearing also feature Syntech anti friction coating for durability in high load conditions.
