Turbo Pedestal Mounting Update kit for 2015-16 Ford 6.7L PowerStroke Engines. When installing a 888142-5001S and or 888143-5001S on a 2015-2016 Ford 6.7L PowerStroke, this AP0198 turbo mounting pedestal update kit is required to update the turbocharger mounting pedestal, Coolant Lines and related hardware to the newest 2017+ Truck pedestals. This kit enables you to convert from the externally top oil fed turbocharger to the new style internally oil fed & drained turbocharger that was found on 2017-2019 Ford F-Series trucks. Failure to do so, will lead to oil starvation and bearing failure of your new turbocharger.
